This policy explains what we do with your personal data when you use thespicefrontier.com. The data controller is The Spice Frontier, a sole proprietorship of Durgadevi Tamizh Maran, at 872, Cauvery Mettu Street, Kadiramangalam, Thiruvidaimarudur, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu 612106, India. What we collect

- **To fulfil an order:** your name, delivery address, email address and phone number. - **If you create an account:** the above, plus your order history and any saved address. - **If you subscribe:** your email address only. - **Automatically:** basic technical data your browser sends, and — only if you accept our cookie banner — Google Analytics usage data.

We do **not** collect or store your card details. Payments go directly to Razorpay, our payment processor, which handles card data under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS obligations. We receive only a payment reference and its status.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To take, ship and support your order — necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To send transactional email (confirmation, dispatch, refunds) — same basis.
• To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.
• To send marketing email — only with your consent, withdrawable at any time.
• To measure site usage — only with your consent, via the cookie banner.

Who we share it with

Only those who need it to deliver your order: our payment processor (Razorpay), our email provider (Resend), our shipping carriers, and our hosting provider. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Because we ship worldwide from India, delivering your order involves transferring your address to carriers and customs authorities in the destination country.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page: your login and profile are erased and past orders are anonymised rather than deleted, because we are obliged to retain the sales record itself.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to a use. Email thespicefrontier@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep your basket. Analytics cookies load only after you accept them in the banner. You can decline and the shop works normally.
